Oct. 6-10th BOOK FAIR and FUN RUN Info!

Hello Families,

Last week was so much fun! The students enjoyed "camping" and the creation station (both C activities). We watched a Wild Kratts show with popcorn about how foxes use their senses.

We will be going to the book fair as a class on Thursday during our library time. It is helpful if students come with money in a baggie or envelope, labeled with the amount and their name. It is suggested that $11 will cover a $9.99 book + tax.  Of course you can go as a family during the after school times on Wednesday  (5-7:00). Come and guess who is behind the mask! There will be "masked readers" at the evening book fair (between 5:30-6:15) and students are invited to guess who they think the reader might be.

FUN RUN UPDATE:

use this code to register your child and they will get a free t shirt!

The Fun Run on October 17th will be replacing the Springfest event, which is Shaker Lane's biggest fund raiser. The money raised will go toward buses for field trips, all school programs (such as Kindkids Music, Pumpernickle Puppets, and other enrichment programs) and SO much more. It will be "run" 😆 during the school day so no need to add to your already busy calendars. It will be a super fun movement break during our day👏!
