Hello,
This week we will continue to practice letters l, h, k since it was a short week last week. Later in the week we will learn letters v, w and a new trick word: is. We will continue to distinguish the beginning sound in words and sequencing a story. The children will be learning how to include finger spaces in their writing.
We will be practicing matching numbers 6-10 with quantities and will be working with 10 frames a lot!
The children will participate in a Second Step lesson about caring and helping. Here is a link to a home link about our lesson if you want to practice at home!
- Wednesday- Scholastic Book Club Book Orders are due. If you would like to order any books as a holiday gift for your child, just let me know ahead of time and I will set them aside when they arrive and not send them home in your child's backpack. - Thursday is picture retake day
- Friday is Shaker Lane Spirit Day- HAT DAY
