Hello,
What a FUN heart jar celebration! The children were ADORABLE making forts with anything in their path and I loved how many of them worked together so nicely. I have to admit, I was unsure we would get the room cleaned up in time for dismissal but they all pitched in and we got it done!
This week we will learn and practice letters l, h, k and a new trick word: little. We will continue to distinguish the beginning sound in words and sequencing a story. The children will be learning how to add more sounds in their writing.

In math, we will be practicing matching numbers 6-10 with quantities, writing those numbers and will be working with 10 frames a lot!

- Monday- (No School) Scholastic Book Club Book Orders are due (I extended the date a little). If you would like to order any books as a holiday gift for your child, just let me know ahead of time and I will set them aside when they arrive and not send them home in your child's backpack. You can order online- HERE is the information to order!
- Thursday is picture retake day
- Friday is parent/teacher conferences. I am looking forward to seeing you! If you need to change your time, please try to do so by Thursday. Because of the busy schedule, I have everything organized in order of the conferences and I do not have time to check the sign up on Friday. If you can't make your conference time, please call the office so that they can let me know as soon as possible. If you are requesting a virtual conference, please log on right at your time so that it does not interrupt a potential conference before you. Please note that the conferences are for caretakers/teachers only. If you need to bring your child, I can set up a table in the hall with some activities for him/her. We only have 15 minutes and it goes by quickly so, as much as I would love to visit with my student, it is your time!😊
