Hello Families!
I am looking forward to seeing you on Friday at our conference. Please meet me in the classroom at your scheduled time and feel free to knock on the door at your time to keep me on track😂. If you have requested a virtual conference, the link is on the sign up sheet. If you have to switch your conference for any reason, please do so the day before to make sure I can accommodate your change. I will not be able to see any changes after 8:45 Fri. am! IF you have not signed up by Thursday, I assume you do not want a conference at this time.
This week, we will be wrapping up module 3 in Wit and Wisdom with our End Of Module Task. We will also be finishing up unit 3 in Fundations (our phonics program) and learning when to use a c or a k in a word (yup...there are rules!). Our new trick words are: as, has.
In math, we will be learning the names of and building with 3D shapes and then learning positional words (above/below, next to/besides, before/after), while using 3D shapes.

I am super excited to welcome Michelle Barry from the Littleton Historical Society to kindergarten on Tuesday! She will be showing the students some artifacts from Littleton's past. I think this will be a nice conclusion to our unit on America Then and Now (from Wit and Wisdom) and a great way for the children to experience some of the things we have learned about in a hands on way.
